Our Farm

Sweet Water Lavender Farm is an all-natural lavender farm in Placerville, California.  We cultivate the lavender plants in our landscape and our fields, and we identify creative ways to utilize all parts of the plants to create a variety of lavender and lavender-based products.

​We moved to the beautiful Sierra foothills in 2010 and developed our landscape emphasizing herbs, planting more than 100 lavender bushes.  In addition to being colorful and fragrant, lavender is deer and gopher resistant, bee and butterfly attractive, and drought and snow tolerant.

During 2020, we made a decision to expand upon the lavender we had planted in our landscape to fields of lavender for harvest and sale, and Sweet Water Lavender Farm began.

​

We grow and cultivate our plants without using any chemicals or pesticides.  We hand-craft our lavender-based products using the lavender that we harvest and process, all-natural ingredients, minimal and recyclable or biodegradable packaging, vintage and upcycled items, and reusable containers.
